In Cody's beginnings in martial arts and kickboxing there was a day when the young and inexperienced wolfdog observed a veteran dragon practicing in a plain near a fighting arena. It seems that there would be some sort of tournament between fighters from around the world, he approaches the dragon fighter somewhat nervously to ask him if he can train alongside him for a while, to his surprise the draconid accepts with a smile wanting to witness Cody's skills firsthand, they would both fight in their own fighting styles.
They make their way to the center of the arena area so they can start the fight, after a light and quick clash of gloves they both raise their guard and focus on each other to hit each other. Cody considered that he would have the surprise factor, but what he didn't know was that Hart had already analyzed his movements and was able to determine the right moment when the wolfdog wanted to throw a strong overhand right to his face, the dragon dodges very easily allowing Hart to deliver a combination of solid punches to his sides and a right hook kick to his jaw sending Cody spitting saliva like a fountain.
After a good amount of rounds the wolfdog fails to land hardly any punches on Hart starting to get a little frustrated as he looked bruised and bleeding from his muzzle as if he was a rookie, the dragon was strict and motivated Cody to keep fighting because he knew he had hidden potential that he had yet to show, Hart didn't make it easy for him dodging and throwing constant kicks to his muzzle with his dragon soles leaving big footprints and making him bleed more, however Cody continued fighting even though he felt that this fight was already a lost case.
Hart throws a swift right high kick to Cody's cheek, but Cody manages to dodge it by ducking and counterattacking with a right spinning kick to the jaw and complementing it with a reverse heel kick to the dragon's snout making him fall immediately to the ground bleeding from his snout. Cody couldn't believe it, Hart smiled and wiped his blood with his left arm that was what he wanted, to see a rookie striving to be a great fighter. After this they both give a bow of respect ending the training in a way that Cody does not forget to this day. Hart and Cody's dried blood and paw prints remain in that fighting arena reminding the wolfdog that if you want to be a master you must first be a student.
This drawing was made by the good fighter dragon ✨DracoFighting✨ I am very grateful to him for having made this drawing of Cody fighting with his fursona, this is one of the first drawings I received from my feisty wolfdog hehe, I don't know whether to consider it a gift or a request 🥊

If you're wondering why Cody has a different combat gear here, it's because at that time I still didn't have defined the colors and design of his gloves, shorts and whether he would wear shin guards or not so I based it on my own real boxing gloves that I have around here and the blue combat shorts I used to wear for training ⭐
I hope you enjoy the post, it's been a long time since I've uploaded anything here! Have a great day everyone and I'll see you another time 🧡
