Fiscont Seedwell is Senatorial Commander in his Empress's service, and, as pictured here, is currently engaged in orbital drop exercises with his assigned Imperial Lt. Cav. regiment on Manioc in Corellian Confederation space, Beyond Sector, circa 5645.
Though not full members of the Confederation by choice, the Empress has gone to great lengths to fully coordinate her forces with the rest of the Confederation's human, Vargr, and Aslan forces in the interest of mutual defense. Though relations are close, many humans fear the Empress's ultimate motives, as well as the hidden empire's ability to mobilize for war quickly, efficiently, and with little regard for individual casualties whenever an overall strategy requires them for success. Still, overal, the Corellon (or Corellian) member worlds would much rather have the insect Imperials as neighbors than the Third Imperium.
Few drones actually make the rank of Commander, much less serve in the military. Fewer still rise to the position of Imperial Senator, though the position remains predominantly a symbolic and advisory, making the Fiscont an anomaly within his own society.

(In a Traveller mood when I did this, obviously - the shipyard advertizement poster in the background is from an older piccie I did for my Traveller campaign set in Foreven Sector, next door to Beyond (to rimward) and the Spinward Marches (to trailing).
Hidden Empire Imperial Hive and all its characters, etc. copyright me.
Traveller and its trademarks copyright (this week? Probably Far Future Enterprises.)

*thankies very much* Always liked storytelling, in an RPG context - and the richer I can make the background of the scenarios, the more weight the scenes seem to carry, even if the players are only catching some of the context.
Plus, I can wax for hours on future history and imaginary timelines for hours if I don't catch myself and no one stops me ;>
