Few months ago i made a pencil sketch from commission idea of
Bobbob2 gave to me. With few tweaks and redrawing. This is what i got. It is a nice characters crossover. And i misses drawing Ava and Minp. They such a good looking and easy to draw characters compare to my other OCs. Im planning few drawings featuring them in the future. Maybe upgrading their outfit to make them look better or just put them in mud and see them struggles X3. I made a story for this piece while working on my personal drawing. Enjoy ^^
Razira somehow ended up in my universe of unique foxes and creatures. Despite the presence of other anthromorphic species, foxes are typically abundant in this swampy region. The scenery here is spectacular. The crystal-clear blue water flows through the creek. The mangrove trees provide plenty of shade from the heat of the sun. And the fauna are also wonderful as its flora counterpart as well.
It is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. For the white wolf, it's just another of those "swamps" where she'll get into trouble, but this one is much more colourful than the usual foggy and depressive ones she encountered.
Even this wetland is beautiful and calming. It always provides one tiny inconvenience to anyone who steps on this land. The ground here is soft and yields to her weight. No matter where she tried to locate a sturdy platform, her feet would inevitably end themselves ankle deep in the mossy dirt and deeper.
Razira have to walk carefully and stay near the mangrove because its roots provide leverage and a lifeline in the event that she is unable to free herself using only her hands.
After hours of finding way out. She came into a group of bandits. Wearing a dark leather suit and armed carrying multiple arsenals. They appear to be intrigued in her, claiming that her features mirror those of the royal family members. Only their breed has white, fluffy fur, like her. Capturing her would be a significant asset for them. Perhaps they wish to hold her as a prisoner in order to gain diplomatic leverage when dealing with the present ruling nation. The most important one is that they will have a taste of what the "daughter" of the royal family will feel like. Upon realising their intentions, Razira does not hesitate to run away from those bandits. She launches some fireballs as a distraction and warning, but they instead begin pursuing her.
Walking through the swamp is challenging enough, but escaping from someone who wants to capture her is a game of luck. She ought to steer clear of the clearings and locations with water puddles above them. The last thing she wants is to fall into a deep mud hole and disappear beneath it. This is a different realm than she is used to. Perhaps the physics fundamentals are different. Perhaps there is no such thing as Archimedes principal, which mostly keeps her from drowning into the mud.
While she was considering this possibility, the bandits fired a couple shots at her. Some of it missed, and a couple ricocheted off her bright red chest plate. The ricochet caused her to become imbalanced. Her body smacks onto the mangrove, but she regains her balance and gets back to running away.
She thinks again. Running like this will undoubtedly lead to her becoming trapped. Those leather wearing guys know about this wetland. They will lure her into their traps if she continues to flee. Fighting against them would be a better option. Based on the smoke produced when their gun is fired, they appear to be using a black powder revolver. So they must be of steampunk era. Technologically inferior to the wolf's fire and ice skills. She will undoubtedly defeat them for sure.
Razira finds an open area where she will have more space to face those kidnappers. Her body gradually sinks as she stops moving and remains stationary to recognise her adversaries. Razira seems unconcerned with the indentation her feet left on the ground; she is going to move again soon.
After a few seconds, she realises how many bandits there are. She does not hesitate to respond with fireballs and an ice spike. They did, however, manage to avoid all of it. in relation to their slender bodies, large ears, and tail under the shiny leather costume. They could possibly be cunning and agile foxes. A physically weak foe that is difficult to hit with a projectile and melee attack.
They began shooting back at her. This time, they had surrounded her. Bullets are flying from every angle. Razira reacted with channelling her power on her feet. In less than a half-second, a tremendous burst of jets pushed her skyward like a rocket taking off the launch pad. Apart for the bullet that struck her ankle bracelet, she avoided almost all of the incoming gunfire. However, her flight became unstable from that bullet, causing her to crash into a puddle of water face first at high speed.
She managed to reposition herself and land feet first. She may shatter a few leg bones, but she at least she will not die. She finally lands with a loud splurt, splattering muck all over the place. It was an unexpected gentle landing for her; at the very least, no bones were broken, but she ended herself knee deep in the dark, muddy dirt. The crystal-clear blue puddle of water with mossy ground misled her into believing it was solid ground. She gasped and swung left and right to get her legs out. Her muddy legs raise slightly from the ground, with blobs of mud stuck to them, before settling back down as she pulls her other legs.
Her body plummeted a few inches in the blink of an eye, accompanied by a loud slurping sound and bubbles popping on the surface. Razira screams for her life for a little while from the sudden sink. Her progress was a complete waste of effort. In reaction the bandits who have already stopped firing laugh at her dilemma before being hit by a flame, which sends them flying a few feet high and landing in a large, muddy area.
This is the moment when she must strike them while they are preoccupied. She missed two or three of them, but the one that was hit landed in the mud hole and never surfaced. Some of them are neck, waist, or chest deep. All of them wore hefty leather boots. So she is confident the stuck bandits will not be able to cause trouble again.
However, she is not entirely safe. Despite her not doing anything, the gurgling mud beneath her begins slowly sucking her down. To make matters worse, the vulpine bandits respond to her by firing numerous rounds at her. They change their battle tactics. They run in a circle around the wolf, firing all of their guns at the same time. This drove Razira to become defensive. She made an ice shield with her hands in an attempt to deflect and prevent the gunshots hitting her unprotected parts. It works in deflect small revolver caliber. However one of the bandits took out a long breech-loading rifle and aimed it to destroy her ice shield. The larger and armor piercing caliber could penetrate through her ice shield. Razira intensify her ice making abilities to thicken her ice shield. As she is using both of her hands to protect her flank and read, she is unable to take offensive actions against the bandits. Her submerged feet will be unable to use her power either, as her fiery power requires oxygen to work. To make matters worse, a deadly snake materialised in front of her and moved towards Razira in an attempt to bite her thigh. She is now fighting a lossing battle. In danger of sinking fully into the mud, being bitten by a snake, and being abducted by bandits for their own gain. She is out of alternatives for survival.
When hope begins to fade away. One of the bandits rebelled. She removed the leather mask to expose her indigo-vulpine face. She also discarded the leather outfit, exposing her thick black and red skin suit. She took out her blaster and began firing the confused bandits. Some of the shots land a hit, knocking out one of the bad guys. Then another fox emerges from the top of the mangrove. This time he wore a tribal clothing in the same teal as his fur. He cast a spell that annihilated the snake, which was only a few feet away from biting the sinking wolf thigh, into a pile of dust. They seem to be an enemy of Razira enemy.
Razira was likewise perplexed about what was going on while blocking some shots. A powerful bullet struck her right-hand ice shield, causing it to break while she is doing so. Leaving a small shield for her to use. Although at this moment, she only needs to confront the bandits in front of her, her flank and rear are free.
After some nasty gunfights. The multicoloured fox couple ended up being victorious. Although they need to fight another battle to get the now-butt-deep wolf out of the stinking bog. Razira was first hesitant to accept their assistance for fear of being kidnapped. However, the couple convince her that they are working with the royal families itself. They understand what they look like. They don’t have no daughter.
What they're more curious about is her superpower. Only vulpines possess such magical skills; the bulk come from the desert region, where they can control water at will. Minp can cast green fire, while Ava is still looking for ways to activate her unique abilities but naturally, she will have magical abilities like the male fox himself at one point. They are more interested in having multiple elemental abilities. So they intend to take Razira to the imperial laboratory and have the scientist examine her.
When she heard their stories, she flatly refused their assistance, the sludge beneath her gurgled again as a reaction to her refusal, threatening to engulf her further. It's as if the mud is sentient and an integral part of the environment and food chain. And Razira is at the bottom of that food chain.
They give her two options: come with them or perish in the swamp. Razira provides the obvious answer. She can manage herself here. It just a mud. Even farmers deal with it every day in rice fields.
The fox couple giggles. They knew that’s impossible. After hearing that,Minp sprinting out to the unconscious bandits and binding them up. He examined the place where several of them had fallen into the large mud pit before asking Razira if she knows what happen to her victim in that pit.
She does not know and not even care about them. Minp then proceed to tell her they are sunk deep beneath the swamp and the wolf could met the same fate as them not too long after this and offer a hand to her again.
Razira still refuse their help. She struggles by leans backwards while both of her hands push her up on the side of her body. Like her first struggles, she is making good progress by raising her upper thigh before her hands slip down into the surface, followed by her body. She gasped and could only see her muddied thigh slipping under with a slow and steady downward motion. Like a hot knife through butter until half of her butt was buried in that sinking mud. Even this point, she is still going deeper, but at a very slow rate. She can't believe such a small, muddy area can be so deep like this.
The fox couple giggles again. Maybe she will accept their help eventually. For now, they have to wait when. They give an estimation when the wolf will completely sink but Razira still convinced them she can escape before that time which is before dusk.
She continues to struggle again…

Ah, Raz in the story piece being stubborn as ever, nice to see nothing changes in spite of being thrown into another reality :p
How long before Minp and Ava clarify for her that she's going nowhere but straight down into the bog if she doesn't accept help? 😆
Superb artwork and a great story as ever Saga ^_^

Oh my goodness, what an amazing story to go with your fantastic artistic skills! I'm in love with both of them, and I thank you for all your time and effort in both!
And Raz can still get out of this mire no problem. Despite all that weighty mud on her, she can still fly right out of it!...it can't be that gooey and sticky, can it?
