This piece is very personal, but seeing as no one would know what makes it so, I might as well post this here to be scrapped later. Arenoth was showing me a bit how to use tools in Sai, and I decided I maybe wanted to give it a go. The eyes aren't as white as I intended, but I'm happy to leave it for now until I figure out painting pale and opalescent. This shading makes no sense, and the anatomy is rubbish, and I forgot to detail the fleshy vulnerable bits around the eye but hey...it's practice. Eventually I will learn to depict this creature's hide as I envision it.
