Criminals, deserter, public nuisance, ''freaks'' and many more excuses are used to slap a collar around someone's neck. To be put onto auction, to be sold to the highest bidder and to be completely at their mercy. This kind of life is all that i've known since my young years on this forsaken land.



A mask to remove our identity, a collar enchanted to keep us leashed and a supervisor ready to abuse us at the slightest mistakes. When we're not asked to tend for the crops, we must please their every demand, massages, cooking and less than pleasant request are never out of the questions. We might have a stronger hatred towards it if we weren't also the first people sent to defend against beasts attacks, our feelings altered feeling anger rather than sorrows knowing we will have to work twice as hard to replace the missing hands.




I used to pray for salvation, for some kind person to buy us to a better village, for food that isn't tasteless paste and for merciful death. Rumor says the old army of the north has changed leadership, they have been spotted nearby and if we're lucky it will give us a change to escape.
