I commissioned this lovely piece from  SilentRavyn after the topic came up at werk.
A few coworkers and I were discussing the hazards of working around flammable solvents while wearing synthetic materials (e.g. polyester) because the lab coats we are required to wear are a cotton / poly blend(we've been assured that the garments are safe even in the highly unlikely event of a splash and fire). For guests, we have disposable lab coats that fall apart after a few wearings (they are disposable and this is not surprising). The comment was made that the disposable ones very quickly resemble something that Victoria's Secret would make.
The idea got into my head and wouldn't leave me alone until I found someone who could turn that idea into a reality.  SilentRavyn was that person. I sent her pictures of actual lab equipment for reference and told her to have fun with it. Here is the result.
