To explain: while I'd barely started digging a hole to get sand for sculpting, a beach cop rolls up in his SUV: "blah blah hole to china... sea turtles nesting, holes bad kill them they can't get out. Fill it in before you leave" "fine okay bye".

Several other folks then asked me if I was digging a hole to China also.

In jest, I give you: the *real* reason holes to China are fatal to sea turtles >:O
