...because he had to dye his hair!

Kiddo spent 10 straight hours with his brain plugged in - a good portion of that time trapped by Keter - then woke up and had an hour to un-scramble and apply some random corner-store hair dye before going out and getting in a stranger's vehicle (per Keter's instructions).
