So, in my Warcraft Alternate Universe "A History of Tal'doren" Malygos has a more prominent heroic role. Thanks to Kalecgos and Alexstraza rousing him from his angst coma a bit earlier, and beating the absolute crap out of Deathwing, Malygos starts to be a more optimistic, kind Aspect. He travels to Dalaran during the Third War to recover from his injuries and starts getting more involved in the politics of the city, having rediscovered his love of learning magic. During his fight with Deathwing his face was badly burned, and he lost eyesight in his right eye, so he had it replaced with a magical gem that can 'see' magic of all sorts.
