It's coming together!
The arm is about 70% complete on the Pepakura front. About the only things left are the shoulder, and the elbow. The elbow here is actually the knee from the leg. I was using it as a placeholder to see if an elbow was a good idea or not.
One thing a few folks might notice is that the Ironman hand is now more solid. That's the result of using fishing line along the middle of each finger, allowing a nice flexibility, without forcing the fingers into one shape or another. There's also a little bit on the knuckle-plate now, which increased the flex even further.
In regards to the bicep itself. It's massive! While it looks proportionate on the floor like this, I'm still toying with making a smaller one simply because when it's on my arm, it swims around.
Pilfered once again from the same MKIV that provided the calf, the file offers an interesting combination of curves, and hard angles. I'm particularly fond of the strips running down the outside of the arm. I don't know what they're supposed to be, but for this build, they'll be silver, to imply that they're heat-sinks.
Info:
Parts: 54
Faces: 870
Time to build: 4 days. That's honestly an overstatement. The bicep has just kind of dragged on because it wasn't as fun to work on as other parts. I don't know why, but it felt almost chore like to grind this one out.
We're getting into the home stretch of Pepakura though, a few more arm pieces, a foot, and then possibly the beast of a project that is the Wolf head. (which has been having demons of it's own...)
Hope you're all enjoying the progress shots!
