⦁ Biography: Chumani is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born in a 3 day gap in between Salida & Madoka. Chumani grew up in the warm loving care of her parents, as her many other siblings have, yet there was one thing she obtained a fascination for among other things: The ways of the ninja. Yet none captivated her more than the Shiekah, the Shadow Folk of Hyrule itself. Chumani one day decided that she wanted to be a kunoichi influenced by the Sheikah themselves, and her own father accepted her wish, going as far as to properly train her in the ways of the ninja himself. Chumani however, proved to be a quick study in her lessons, nailing the art of shadow melding with ease, along with many other profound techniques. When it came to weapon training, Chumani mastered all that as well, taking an equal shine to using single edge blades over double edge blades, but what's especially surprising is how she takes excellent care of her weapons so that none of them ever reach their breaking point at all. Once she had learned all that was possible from her father, she was permitted along with her other Hylian themed sisters to be able to help protect the peace in Hyrule, and even around her own Olympian backyard. In the former, she eventually became as the Sheikah Influenced Kunoichi, a title Chumani holds onto with pride to this day. As one expect from this in Juni's family, Chumani is a very friendly girl to those she meets, and befitting her fighting style is quite cunning as well. However, Chumani is also a prankster. There is not a moment she will pass up to pull a prank on others, such as handing out presents that hit people with pies the moment the present is opened, or even luring others into a room where the floor is quicksand. As such, she enjoys April Fool's Day, where she is able to pull off many pranks as possible until the day is done. She is fond of the Sheikah culture & gets along nicely with 3 of them: Impa, Paya, and Purah to be precise. However, she does not tolerate the Yiga Clan, whom she feels is a disgrace to the Sheikah and must be exterminated at all costs. Like a handful of her sisters, Chumani is a proven absolute mudlark, never hesitating to sink herself in quicksand the moment she finds signs of a pit present, no matter how far away it may be. Owns the most Sheikah Memorabilia.
⦁ Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Chumani is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any given moment she enters the water, but primarily transforms in fresh, or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Chumani strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Chumani is well trained in the ways of Ninjutsu. She is very fast on her feet, able to dodge many attacks thrown at her, making her a tough target to hit even with the fastest of enemy attacks. Though as a result, Chumani doesn't sport a good amount of defensive power, so she will often be seen holding a shield to add some much needed defense. As stated above, Chumani has a high preference of single edge blades to fit her fighting style. She also carries shuriken for additional ranged back up & has no trouble using bows as well. However, Chumani never uses spears or axes as they do not fit her style at all. She is also skilled at ninjutsu magic, down to the point of being able to cast it without using up too much magic power. Her starting gear & skills are as follows.
⦁ Sheikah Kunoichi Garb: Chumani's lightweight, stealth friendly clothing worn while out fighting monsters on the field. Underneath it is a fine lightweight chainmail v-neck vest to add some extra protection.
⦁ Stealth Mask: It may look like a regular cloth mask, but it was made using Sheikah crafting techniques to suppress the noisy rustling of clothes. Perfect for sneaking about.
⦁ Stealth Chest Guard: Armor designed for stealth, passed down through the Sheikah tribe. The special fabrics suppress the rustling of clothes even when moving quickly.
⦁ Stealth Tights: Members of the Sheikah tribe wear these tights when they need to move stealthily. They're made from noise-suppressing cloth, a hallmark of ancient Sheikah technology.
⦁ Calantha: Chumani's personal horse. So named because of her flower shaped mark on the forehead. She gallops fast and can trample enemies with ease at full speed. However, she doesn't do well running in snow.
⦁ Gilded Katana: A katana infused with gold dust. It might take two-hands to swing, but it's light & comfy enough that it suits Chumani well & it will never break.
⦁ Silver Ninjato: A one-handed single edge sword forged of silver. It's weaker than Chumani's katana, but it's faster, and ideal for enclosed spaces.
⦁ Eightfold Blade: A single-edged sword traditional to the Sheikah tribe. Forged using ancient technology, it's said to be among the sharpest conventional weapons ever made. Chumani takes such great care of this blade that it will never break no matter how many times it is used.
⦁ Eightfold Longblade: A single-edged sword seldom seen in Hyrule. This weapon is passed down through the Sheikah tribe and has an astonishingly sharp edge ideal for slicing. As with the Eightfold Blade, it sees so much care tended to it that it will never break at all.
⦁ Phrenic Bow: A bow passed down through the Sheikah tribe. Concentrating before drawing the string will allow you to target distant enemies as easily as those nearby. This one, as before, has seen much reinforcement, there's no way that it'll break. It acts as Chumani's primary ranged weapon, packing a starting quiver that holds 30 regular arrows.
⦁ Shield of the Mind's Eye: A small Sheikah-made shield. Its design is intended to decrease blind spots without sacrificing too much defense. Chumani has taken such great care of this shield that it's impossible to break.
⦁ Shuriken: Small throwing blades that act as Chumani's secondary ranged attack. They don't hit as hard as the arrows fired from Chumani's bow, but the fact that they can fly faster makes up for it. Sometimes they're coated with poison to increase their lethality. Chumani carries up to 70 of these from the start.
⦁ Kusarigama: The infamous chain & sickle weapon. Chumani uses this if her foes are using polearms to shield themselves in order to either rip their weapons out of their hands, or to drag them up close & slice them to inflict serious damage. The weight on the end is actually a kunai that can be used to do some minor damage to foes, or hook into certain spots that Chumani can then climb up.
⦁ Ninjutsu Magic: Chumani is a master of ninjutsu magic and knows many tricks ranging from shapeshifting, and cloning herself to name a few.
⦁ Shinobi Fire Arts: Chumani knows plenty of fire techniques to make her foes burn to ash, or even to use defensively. They are at their strongest in scorching climates.
⦁ Shinobi Water Arts: Chumani knows many offensive & defensive water techniques & will not hesitate to make use of it in areas with lots of water.
⦁ Shinobi Wind Arts: Chumani is capable of commanding the wind to blow her enemies off course & heavily harm them with blades of wind. These magical arts deal effective damage to aerial creatures like Kargorocs.
⦁ Shinobi Earth Arts: Chumani has command of the earth & can skillfully cause sandstorms & injure her foes with sharp stones. Chumani even has access to Sinkomancy & will often use it when the chance arises.
