Hoo boy~ I finally finished it! Been a while coming but it's nice to finally see it done :)
I certainly learned a lot from this one. How best to arrange my layers, different lighting, rendering up all those backgrounds... Two main things stand out to me though:
1. ALWAYS map out the area that characters are in so that you know where things are in relation to each other.
2. With that in mind, always be aware of where light is coming from.
Slightly crapped out on both of those ^^;
So then, there are many things I'm happy with, many things I'd do completely differently. Overall though, I'm quite pleased with it all. Probably couldn't maintain this level of detail for a whole comic, but at least now I know I actually have a shot at making more like this. This one's far from perfect (odd lighting at the end) but that's something to learn from.
Anyway, lemme know what you guys think. Regular comment mode, but feel free to critique if you wish :)

Serious admiration for this. Whatever you may say or think about the colours (been there, done that, hated my own work XD) these look nothing less then professionally done perfection.
Also still love the story. Really want to see more of the story stuff you got cooking, man =P
