Conspace is liminal and interconnected in time and its relative dimensions in space. Elevators, doubly so. Even music that plays within elevators and convention spaces is an ambient placeholder for your destination, an environment rather than an intention. Thus! The Elevator Conspace Music is a genre of tuneless humming, intoxicated greetings, quiet wheezing, mechanical thunks, ringtones and random recognizable snatches of dance music played on a Bluetooth speaker. Sometimes there is actual elevator music, but no one can perceive it.

Noses a Pyat_Muis; I'm sorry for not touching base with you on Saturday. I did get to see Jenora, and Kratsminsch, and even The Boss (Kraken) from the Korps, and Deuce flew in from Lafayette. I only attended for Saturday (registered basic for the weekend) and my older brother came to pick me up early, I was not in a good place, headwise.
I think I might've rushed things in coming back with the shape I was in mentally and physically, but I'm holding onto the good things, specifically seeing
JenoraFeuer, holding her with my own arms for the first time in almost twenty years. That, and baby steps; five years ago I wouldn't have done even as much as I did. And Jen said she was proud of me, as did the Boss
Kraken and many people I met were tremendously kind and helpful whether we had met before or not.
It may be only one day to start with from now on, depending on how things go with my recovery, but I fully intend to try, like I did this year at FE within my bounds. I asked Jenora what she would like for her birthday (March 17th IC, that would've been Sunday) and she told me, and I started working on it yesterday, Monday, after taking Sunday to decompress.
I can do this, Pyat. I did do it, and I'm going to do it. I can do this, and I know there are plenty of people rooting for this woofer, including you. This is only the pilot episode of my new, ongoing series, like all the others my life is a gestalt of, like everyone else's.
To quote the 12-foot-tall combat-model fullsleeve Exotic she-wolf, Crying Little Sister from my first finished novel, Medium, that I finished the full draft of on November 5th, 2023, three days after what would've been my Dad's 88th birthday:
"The only death that really matters is daybreak."
The Glass-Half-Full is a kindly mistress, and she refreshes me. Staying Frosty, my goodbean!
