You walk through a dark forest, a wood of endless night. The bark of black plants block your vision as you crawl through crevices made between tangled branches and thorns. Even at your small size the branches scrape at your sides and snag at your fur. You’ve been traveling for hours at this point, exhausted by your constant fight with the undergrowth. You can deny it no longer:
You are lost.
These woods form a maze around all those who enter it. And you are no different. You decide to rest, as there is no point in forcing yourself onwards if you don’t know where you are. The woods are eerily quiet, but with no noise to bother you and the darkness blanketing you, you swiftly fall asleep. Unaware of the eyes watching you.
You awaken to the smell of baked bread and the fragrant tones of foraged herbs and flowers. You open your eyes to find yourself amid those herbs and flowers, bathed in red light from the crimson cloth that shelters the basket you are in. Muffled by the cloth, the sounds of clattering metal and hushed voices echo from various corners. Before you can even get up, the world around you shifts. The basket has been lifted, and you are being whisked away to who knows where.
Eventually, the world settles again. You still hear the hushed voices, and the placement of other items. But then comes a sudden hush, followed by the sound of heavy doors closing. After another second of silence you find yourself blinded by a sudden increase in light as the cloth is removed from above you.
“Ah, so you are awake” a voice croons in front of you. The light from one of the sparse windows in the room shines directly onto you and the basket. Even when your eyes have adjusted, the room remains obscured in shadows, and you fail to see the source of the voice. She continues.
“The woods outside are dangerous, especially for someone as small and…” her voice trails off, you watch as paw creeps onto the table. She drums her claws against the table, thinking, before she lets out a sigh.
“My point is, you’re lucky you were found by someone so hospitable. So kind in fact, that I’m willing to let you stay here, with me.” You are quick in attempting to decline the offer, as despite how nice it sounds, you have places you need to be.
“No, no.” She replies, “I Insist.”
As she hisses that final word, the curtains are drawn closed over the windows, and the room becomes pitch black. You aren’t in the dark for long however. You are once again bathed in red by a sinister glowing smile in the dark. Followed by a pair of glowing eyes. You now can see the face behind the voice, a vixen with a fanged crown.
She opens her maw, the same hellish red as her eyes. You find yourself moving closer to her. By some strange force you are inched closer and closer to her waiting mouth. You feel the heat from her breath, growing hotter with each second you are drawn closer. You feel her tongue press against your body, a flame, unbearably hot. In an instant your body is engulfed.
Her tongue guides you deeper, the threat of her dagger-like teeth give you no other option. Saliva pools around you, sticking to your fur and bringing the uncomfortable heat directly against your skin. Her tongue coils your form a couple of times before the tongue gives you a final shove.
She swallows.
You are yanked from the world and into the abyss. The combined force of throat muscles and gravity propel your descent. With a final squeeze, you are deposited into her stomach. The organ is compact, even for someone of your size. The walls roll and churn around you, squeezing almost as much as the throat. You push against the walls to give yourself some space, but they only push back harder.
With a sigh, the fox relishes in the feeling of a full and active stomach. She gets up from her chair to open the curtains that closed for her dramatic display, no longer needing the darkness as she already had fun with her food. She swings her belly as she moves, rocking you back and forth… maybe she hadn’t had quite enough fun yet. But she would have plenty of time to do so. After all, she had many tasks to attend to, and many more members to be hospitable to. Though, maybe not in the same way as you.
