At long last it seemed their transformations had subsided. Both stood in awe, but Graham gasped. She couldn't believe it. She and her friend were somehow mythical Pokèmon.

Overwhelmed with this new power and desire to sing, she blushed. It was hard to spit out sentences without bursting into song, but she apologised to Milo. She didn't intend for this and maybe if he organised or perhaps if Roxy had forced her to organise her stash properly as a Minccino or something, none of this would've happened.

Milo however felt ecstatic. Being both a mythical Pokémon and cute were things she approved of. She couldn’t stop smiling upon seeing her new form, even if it was girly. She reassured Graham that she liked her form and had no need to apologize.

Graham still wasn't exactly thrilled though and was shocked by Milo's reaction. Didn't help that she remembered that bet with Skittles. That's a lot of cookie stand money flushed away to her and likely F.R.E.N.Z.Y., all because he was too stubborn to think a Pokèmon was actually real. What would they spend it on anyway? Knowing them, probably large meals at the Spinda Cafè instead of regular ones or they'd fund that trebuchet dream Maya has and accidentally make a catapult instead.

Despite how odd and new the sensations were, Milo very much liked her form. She figured now that pink was a nice colour on her… Milo’s temptation to sing was almost as present as her wish to sing her heart out. She noticed her friend’s displeasure with her new form however. Feeling bad for Graham she tried to comfort her by saying they should enjoy their new mythical forms, and to put the “melo” in Meloetta.

She was about to argue, maybe even explode at Milo but then thought about it. This form, while extremely strange, was incredibly sensational too. Her hair felt nice in particular, so, so smooth. Plus being a mythical Pokèmon was something that Graham never thought would happen to them at all in her life, even with exposure to stuff like this on the daily. While she still really wanted to change back and find Roxy, it'd definitely be foolish to not have some fun in this new form.

Graham continued to think about it and then, an idea sprung up. Just like a Tadbulb had suddenly appeared next to her. Believing it could be fun, she asked Milo if they'd perhaps be interested in doing a music video together. It wouldn't be hard to find some camera equipment surely and the new Meloetta believed it could be a fun time waster.

Milo certainly loved the sound of this proposal. She figured she would need to exert this energy somehow and why not do it with her friend. With this in mind she accepted the offer. She figured all of those dance moves that she and her fan club had been practising could maybe be put to good use, and then some! These thoughts left her all jittery inside just thinking about it.

Smiling, she raises her arm up for a high five.

Hearing this, Graham's face lit up. Seeing Milo’s enthusiasm made her hyped and suddenly she was more determined than ever to make this a reality. She didn't leave her friend hanging and went for the five.

There were various music tracks that had seeped into this world, right? Maybe she could warm up her new cords with those or perform one of them? She recalled a band named Crush 40 and knew those could be a rocking start. Perhaps she could write her own song? The possibilities!

They began discussing and both thinking the same thing. This video was gonna be hit!

Blue2oo's Message

Surprise surprise! A little message from me, Blue~ This was a cool and cute project to work on with Sponge and has been in the works for a really long time! (Since last year) But time has flown and so this is now finished!

There aren’t many collabs so I am happy we could add to it a bit. There were some revisions and edits that had to be made to the comic itself, but it ultimately became something I am proud of.

Thanks again to Sponge for agreeing to do this with me in the first place, otherwise this wouldn’t have been possible at all (literally).

It seems that no matter what happens, these two gremlins always find themselves in all sorts of mischief. Only this time they only have themselves to blame for becoming a couple of cute Meloetta’s.

Spongy's Message

Hi travellers! It's Cakey/Spongy! This has been in the works for a very long time (since last year in fact) and I'm so happy we got it to the finish line!

A fun project where our art styles collide and with a short story we wrote together to boot. Just as a bonus~ I did a lot of the comic layout for this one, but Blue did a lot of heavy lifting bringing this to life in the first place, so give them many thanks~

Always fun to have these two goofballs interact and get into chaos. Though instead of just Graham becoming an electric rodent, the two of them become beautiful mythicals. Quite the jump huh.
