A magnificent page!
That double-decker restaurant is such a fantastically cozy establishment,
and I love the muted, out-of-focus flares you used for the background
while the characters are up there, among all those festive lights!
Lots of clothes in here, as well – that's always a time sink.
Josie looks cool, so does Chloe and Glitch, and Trixy seems
like she is filling in for Emma in the role of a pissed off valkyrie.
Huzzah for the ornery opossums!

Thanks dreamwood!
I was saying over on Bluesky, it’s very much based on a couple rock venues I used to go to a bit more regularly in my 20’s 😂 And yeah, it was fun to add a bit more visual interest to otherwise plain backgrounds with some bokeh!
Oh yeah, Trix and Emma are similarly antagonistic, but for different reasons at different intensities 😅 But I have a huge soft spot for possums and raccoons, one of a few exceptions for my animals selections in the comic 😅

Yeah! I think the origins are Japanese? But I've known it as a photography term since I was studying multimedia back in the day.
Yeah, I think their species work really well for rock bands, and I've seen some people draw some wonderful raccoons and possums with punk rock aesthetics, so I was more than a little inspired by some of those!

Oh, and about the butterfly site:
I'd tried looking for "revenants" and "awkward awd" to no effect,
but "Todd Emma" got me to your page straight away!
And I've checked your linktree – you're everywhere,
it seems! You've done well to promote your project
across the platforms! Hopefully, this web will produce
the precious viral outbreak one day.

Oh yeah, when I started on Bluesky I reserved my old Twitter handle, then ultimately closed my twitter account. So it my slightly less "furry-centric" online presence, and a little more rambley and day-to-day. I'm also hoping to drive traffic to the comic from there, because I try engage with as many comic creators as I can find there! I do try tag all of my comic posts as #Revenants though, and that seems to be working alright to keep them all together there!
Yeah, I've tried to cast a wide net. My target isn't exclusively furries, and most webcomic sites are a way better reading experience than a FA gallery, so I try get on as many of those as I can.

I see, thank you!
I enjoyed that photo report
on a confused nyala in the suburbs!
Reading comics on FA is a chore, no doubt,
but the site's hybrid social media/gallery space nature
means much better chances and scope of dissemination.
With any luck, a new and better visual storytelling site format
will be developed in the near future that wouldn't be
a huge crowded advertisement pandemonium,
nor an audienceless oubliette.
