Flowing through life like unseen veins, magic exists in all.
There are some places though, untouched and untainted by most mortal hands, where magic is birthed, weaved, and breathed into the lifeblood of the world. Timeless places, without law or sense, belonging to a plane outside of belief and existence.
Sometimes, however, gates are formed. Doors that should've never been created are opened like a tear in ancient flesh. As a being created to protect the foundations of magic, Yara's job is to ensure these gates remain closed, free of intruders, intentions pure or otherwise.

It's rare that I get pieces that showcase Yara being a bit less gentle or seemingly sweet, and more serious/dealing with the magic stuff! I saw this YCH and had to jump on it, it was waaay too perfect for her character not to! I absolutely love what the artist did in incorporating her coloring into the piece, such as with the flowers or magical cracks, and the atmosphere of it all is just too darn pretty!
