Into the nose, those are the intake, and the grate in the front of the muzzle is exhale only

Ah, yeah, so far I understood, but where do the tubes come from? I guess the design is intended to force scents upon the roo, so I just wonder where the tubes originate :)

From a rear pack attached to the back on the shoulderblades, it's a filtering system, food intake and waste removal for the suit as well as the powerpack to help run the armor

Mnn, so many things to like about this. Tubes and glowy and those lovely lenses, the list goes on and on... Very stylish!
And of course the second situation would be best, but either's great!
