Procyon (formerly known as Eclipse Corgi)
Height: 4 ft 6 in / 1.37 m
Species: Alien Corgi
Personality: Energetic, Spunky, & Headstrong
Procyon tries his hardest to prove he is a capable hero like his idol but tends to rush into things without thinking and his stubbornness can easily get the better of him.
Powers: Light Manipulation, Darkness Manipulation, Flight, Enhanced Stamina
Similar to Major Sirius, Procyon draws his powers from natural starlight which enhances his physical abilities and grants him flight, however their similarities end there. Procyon is not physically powerful as Sirius but he excels in using his starlight offensively by firing beams of light and he also sports the rare ability to control darkness and shadows, either by using umbral blasts of energy or encasing him or his foes in complete darkness.
Weakness: Procyon has the same general weakness as Major Sirius; being in enclosed spaces without any access to natural light prevents him from recovering his energy. While being in dark areas strengthens his dark powers they are also more energy intensive on him. Procyon also can be quite stubborn and is quick to get riled up if he feels if either him or Sirius has been insulted. His short height is a sore subject for him as well.
A descendant of the same alien species Major Sirius is that found their way on our planet, Procyon is the self-proclaimed sidekick of Major Sirius and has looked up to the stellar wolfdog ever since he was saved by him one fateful day. That day he was saved is also the day the corgi discovered his innate powers and after chasing Sirius down and begging him to train him, he became (an unofficial) sidekick to the wolfdog. Since then he has taken it upon himself to learn as much as he can from his idol and to be a hero that can stand out on his own. Procyon takes Sirius’s love for help and dials it up a notch as he feels the need to get involved in any situation no matter how small or dire. His enthusiasm is charming, but it also leads him to get in over his head and he often ends up the one needing help when he goes off to help others.
