Another night of waiting for visitors came upon Newlantis park, while many of the eerily smart sealife-themed animatronics had simply accepted their situation and had chosen to make the most of their safe yet lonely place in the world, Via was determined to make a difference, to make sure that those on the surface would know about the park and her friends...and she had an idea that would be both effective...and quite pleasing for her~

Moving through the canals of the dome, she'd stop at a storage room, one stacked top to bottom with massive tanks of oxygen intended for usage in replenishing air supply, whether that be in the park itself, or in submersibles intended to be used in the surrounding area...they were completely untouched. Perfect~

Reaching into the room, she'd grab handfuls of them and begin to insert them into her form, her body had more than enough space inside to contain all that air after all, and she'd only gain more as she continued!
At first, her growth was slow, being so large by default, it took a while for them to have any effect on her, a full tank or two only gave her a beachball-sized bulge in her belly, not even enough to make it fully spherical! But, over time, she started grabbing more at a time, first two, then four, then well...you can see a pattern~

Over the course of an unknown amount of hours, the robotic sea queen slowly blew herself up, at first being rounded all over, features roughly halfway sunken into a round, spherical form, before they too began to swell, her robotic features ironically becoming gradually obscured over time by her expansion~

Her growth was exponential, as her body gradually got lighter and lighter, her shape became more swollen, horns puffing out into rounded nubs, hands becoming nothing more than sunken orbs, her tail's tip becoming but a rounded divot, her face-fins smoothing out into shapeless spheres, and her eyes pushing forward and expanding into bulging balloons that engulfed her face, outgrowing it quickly~
By the time she was light enough to leave her track entirely, she was far more fish-shaped...which is to say her head and body merged, leaving her goofy, dilated eyes to poke out the front of her form. She felt so much better like this, her whole body had a taut, yet soft feeling to it, one that made her feel extremely cuddly and excited~

Before she left, she took one more thing with her, a blue tarp used to cover up construction, it was stretchy enough to easily fit on her new body...though it was still a tight squeeze once the other bots helped her put it on.

As she squeezed through one of the many access hatches into the dome and out into the open sea, she floated up rapidly, the lowering pressure expanding her body even further, reaching roughly double the original size over the course of only a few minutes, her handcrafted mawashi worked perfectly as intended, squeezing her body into a goofy, literal "hourglass" shape, she could feel herself become that much more pressurized, her FoV decreasing as her eyeballs elongated to over double their original length like a stress toy, it was weird, bizarre, and eyecatching, perfect~

As she finally surfaced, she was roughly the size of a blue whale, if not bigger, easily larger than most commercial boats, it was only a matter of time before someone noticed her, and then?~ Newlantis would finally be known by the public and it could open!
...though something else was on Via's mind...~
All this expansion...it was one of the most incredible things she ever felt...
...
What would happen if she tried going even further?~
