~~~~~~~
With the storm having blown over and everybody returning to their normal lives and schedules, i've found out that mine has still taken a turn.
After nearly a week of nothing but rain and wind and being cooped up during it all, I relished the opportunity to get back outside even if just for a bit but this showed me something that I wasn't paying attention to. My own size. I had apparently just kept gaining and gaining through it all and not once did I stop and notice it! I mean, the bed did start creaking more and the blankets weren't covering me as well as they used to but I didn't think that it had gotten this bad! I'll admit, the boredom of being inside did lead me to start snacking more and more lately. My hunger returning with a vengeance now that I was just hanging around with nothing to distract myself with.
The double doors i've had made into my place that had welcomed me through many times after a slime attack have now met their match as i've been having to push and squeeze myself out of them day in and day out. My dread grows though as lately i've been noticing a worrying trend of the gap between me and the door getting smaller and smaller. I just gotta keep moving, that's all, work off all this inactivity and i'll be fine... right?
