For reference, I'm currently fixated on Rick Riordan's books (author of Percy Jackson). This pic is based on Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, his Norse mythology series. After drawing both Magnus Chase and Alex Fierro (or, rather, anthrofied versions of them), I figured I'd draw them both together.
I assume most of you haven't read this series. I should note that when Magnus puts Jack, his sentient sword, to rest, he feels the effects of Jack's work as if he put in all the effort, for instance, if Jack slays a giant, then once Magnus sheathes him, he collapses from exhaustion. I say this because hopefully Magnus won't feel like he's been shaken around like a rattle. You can't shake a baby, that's for sure.
Not much to say about this one. I sketched it out a while ago, then figured I'd finish and upload it just to give myself a pick-me-up. I guess it's useful if any of you ever end up in Valhalla.
