The Beagle fumed, starring across the yard at Oscil.

"So adorable." Dr. Slater said pinching Oscil's cheek. He whined in response, despite his cheerful smile. "You look so cute in your little hat and dress."

"Let's do this!" Impy roared stamping her feet.

Dr. Slater frowned looking up from Oscil. "Fine, fine. Len, will you come play with Ms. Dudek?"

Impy's eyes glassed, "Len?"

"Well of course," Dr. Slater looked over the brim of her glasses. "You can't expect Ms. Flaherty to fight. She might get something on this adorable outfit."

Oscil smiled, watching the wolf step from the front porch. "Sup, Impy?"

Impy's hands worked with frantic shakes as she fumbled the ball in her hands. "No, wait!" The ball bounced and burst open to a very confused Nidoqueen. The creature first looked to Len, gearing up for a throw and then to its fleeing trainer.

"Do it, Snorlax." Len laughed as his ball hit the ground and popped open.

Impy's pigtails flew and her heart raced. "Not that!" She sobbed as the sky went dark.

Oscil popped a piece of ginger candy in his mouth and giggled at the resounding thud and Impy's shriek.

"I've got a good running gag." Len said; amused by his own antics.

"Leave her under there till she gets tender." Oscil giggled.
