Some personal art I finally managed to finish this week. Still making Celestial themed art for my con table at the end of August, so this month's theme was the Moon.
I didn't yet have a character to represent the moon, though I have always wanted to make one. I decided to make her a Kirin, and her name is Chantrea, which is Cambodian for "moonlight". I wanted to go with something Chinese or Japanese but all the moon names were ones I'd seen done a lot, and I thought this one sounded really pretty.
Her full design will have to come later, but for now, here's at least a portrait. n_n
