i have to agree. wen i feel sick it almost feels worse to sit or lay down in my bed. it almost comforting to go on the floor instead!!

A couple of years back, I came down with the flu (first time EVER) and I went to school... where I was promptly sick at the end of my "Insurance and Risk Management" class. I still had two more classes that day but I decided I was feeling too sick to go to them. I drove home and went to see a doctor at the nearest "Care Now" or whatever they're called. They confirmed it was the flu and gave me some stuff that really was ineffectual. When I finally got home, I didn't even make it to the couch. I dropped to my knees and flopped onto the floor, curling up next to my coffee table. That's where I stayed for about four hours, drifting in and out of sleep before I crawled my way to the couch.

Oddly enough, the floor IS pretty comfy when you're sick.

Weird no, awesome yes... When I'm sick or depressed I always stare at the ceiling when I'm on the floor... Which has become a regular thing for me

It's probably the firmness or the higher ammount of pressure... though that depends on where your room is... er...

Regardless, the floor can be nice, as I always get back pains if I lay in my bed for longer than 14 hours.

I once had a kidney problem. I was in the bathroom, evvvverything down there hurt, and I ended up... pardon me, but I ended up urinating blood. Very. Very painful. Instead of going back to class I just kinda lied down in the bathroom stall, where the floor was nice and cool (and surprisingly clean because I'd gone in just as the janitors were leaving).

A few minutes later this dude walks in and is all, "Uhhhh.... Are you alright man?"

"No.... Not really... the floor is nice though."

And then I went to the hospital. XD

Not at all. I was really sick with a flu once and I was very hot. So on the hardwood floor I stayed. It was nice and cold. And whenever my spot got warm, I'd move across the floor to another spot XP

The floor is the most cold spot in a home hun. if you where in the shower and have a cold rag on your face or on your body it does help. ^^

Lol, this happened to me one morning last week. I recovered pretty quick, but I felt horrible, dropped to the bathroom floor, and within about 5-10 minutes, I was fine. Lmao.
