So this actually happened XD
I believe it was the first meal out when me and fox went to Greece, we'd arrived in Athens and wanted some of that good good food. We found a local seafood restaurant and decided to drop in! It looked rather like this picture, and definitely very much like a local restaurant rather than a touristy place. We took a good look at all the food on the menu and started chanting (to ourselves) 'Feesh, feesh, feesh, feesh!' We decided to get quite a few things from the menu, including some prawn/shellfish spaghetti and a whole serving platter of fried sea creatures. The guy taking our order, though he spoke little English and we spoke barely any Greek, gave us the universal look of 'you're not really gonna eat all that, are you?', but we ignored him and ordered away.
It was a lot. A LOT. Of food.
'Feesh, feesh, feesh' quickly became 'okaymaybetoomuchfeesh'. We ate quite a bit of it, though! Including the spaghetti, which was divine. We lived off the fried squid, anchovies and other fish for a good while after, keeping them in the fridge and busting them out when we were at home and needing food haha.
Mistakes were made, but we regret nothing. Ok, maybe a little. Sorry, ocean creatures.
