It's funny sometimes how people can live in the same area for years and yet never actually meet eachother properly.
This used to be the case for Jodie and Aron who lived nextdoor to eachother and never really interacted because of their different daily routines, and though they would take roughly the same route for their morning jog they would often just miss eachother or Aron would jog past her despite making a later start on his jog. This changed one summer morning as Aron had a late start on his morning jog again and happend to find Jodie's water bottle along the way. He only knew her in passing but he did remember seeing her using this bottle once or twice and seeing her along the same route, so he decided to pick it up and keep an eye out for her. Sure enough he found her near the end of his route slowly walking and cursing to herself.
The temperature was rising already and she had only just now noticed she had lost her water bottle somewhere but she was too far down the track now to run all the way back to look for it so she had decided to just walk home instead to not become completely dehydrated. It seemed somewhat trivial to get upset about losing an ordinary water bottle but it was dear to her as it was a gift from her late grandmother and she had often used it on trips or her jog and who knew where it could be now or if someone just took and and she'd never see it again. Lost in thought as she was she almost didn't hear the familiar sound of hooves on the paved path as Aron caught up with her, she ignored it for now as she traced back the route she took to think of where she might have lost her bottle and she considered asking Aron if he had seen it somewhere. Though when he got near she was surprised to hear him call "Water delivery!" instead of his usual good morning, and by the time she turned around to respond to him he was already kneeling down beside her to retern her water bottle. Rather than to continue on his run Aron made sure she was properly hyrdrated as they both took a break on a nearby bench and had their first proper conversation before Aron wallked her home.
Since then they would regularly end their jog by walking the last part home together and talk, and before too long they would go out together sometimes before properly dating as they got to know eachother and their relationship grew closer.
