As it says on the tin, this is an announcement proclaiming that I am officially open to accepting art trades! The following is a set of rules I’ve written that I expect everyone who wants to trade with me to follow.

1) All pics I will make for trades will mostly consist of a flat color pic with only one character and possibly a simple background.
2) I won’t shade my drawings, I won’t give them complex backgrounds, and I won’t draw more than two characters per pic. Though this may change as I improve my art skills.
3) If you’re already friends with me on Discord, we can discuss our trade there. But otherwise, I prefer to have our discussions through notes. And I won’t accept a friend request from you over on Discord if I haven’t talked to you through notes first.
4) To prevent myself from being overextended or overwhelmed, I will only work on one art trade at a time. If you ask to do a trade with me and I’m already working on one for someone else, I won’t accept yours until my current trade is finished.

6) If you’re still not sure about something after reading the list, send me a note and ask me if I am willing to draw it.
7) No requesting underaged characters, I won’t even draw aged up versions of them. Better safe than sorry.
8) PROVIDE REFERENCES! I cannot stress this one enough, I heavily rely on them for my drawing process. For me to agree to a trade, I need you to provide at least three references. One for the character, one for pose, and one for size. The more references you can provide, the better.
9) I reserve the right to refuse an art trade for any reason.
10) This last rule is more of a suggestion. But if we do agree to perform a trade, I think it would be best if we both agree to not show each other our respective halves of the trade until they are both finished. We can show each other sketches and such, but we can’t show or post the finished product until both pics are completed. I think this would help us motivate each other and discourage anyone trying to cheat the system by asking for a trade with no plans for working on their half.
