100 Day Art Challenge Day 50 - The Girls
Three for one today. Three of the major characters from How I Became a Teenage Foxgirl. From left to right we have Marie Ti-Ehn, studious wolf kemono, and part time shrine maiden at Womb of the World Shrine. Marie Is probably the most shy of the three, having been frequently picked on for being a "Teacher's pet", and growing up in abject poverty (Caretaking a Shrine in a minor outlying region doesn't pay much.) Next we have Hama Shu Jin. Kinda the de facto leader of the three, Hama is a trans girl Rabbit Kemonomimi. Last year, before the story started, she was shy and frequently depressed. Now she stands taller (Not too tall. Even before her magical Transition she was only a smidge over 5 feet tall) and more confidently. She lives with her older brother Myles (A deer 'mimi) and a workaholic and frequently absent human father. Lastly we have Amelie-Belle Geppet, a well made Construct (Think mechanical doll animated by Magic). Amelie is mostly indistinguishable form the average human, except she has brass ball joints between her fingers, and (difficult to see here, but I tried) hexagonal pupils. A hidden key folded into her back needs to be wound depending on how active she's been, which given her bubbly and outgoing personality, and her participation in both cheerleading and fencing, means twice or three times a day (usually at home, at lunch, and again after the day) I'm mostly happy with how this came out. I could have made Hama's hair a bit shorter, and a dozen other little tweaks, but its pretty good. This is also day 50, halfway through my 100 day art challenge. I've come so far from day One.
