Anyway, thank you for running with the idea and creating such a gorgeous piece. Princess Celestia looks amazing, both beautiful as ever and very demure as she silently pleads for comfort. That face is so adorable that no one could resist giving her a nice big hug (even Luna I bet). The diaphanous robe lets us see her great form in full while reinforcing that it's bedtime; the Luna plushy looks much better than I'd imagined so it explains Celestia's feelings clearly. (Well, all pincushion and voodoo doll theories aside.) The handmade look turned out very sweet too.

Luna's groggy expression with a hint of annoyance is terrific. She looks very cute all curled up in her lovely bed, but unfortunately she can't claim there's no room for her big sister now.

The background is terrific. You picked a great angle the room so that Celestia attracts attention first and makes her look "small" very nicely. That leaves a great close up of cute, er, that bitch! Luna ^^' She's in a nice looking bed that I wouldn't mind having, and the royal colors look good. (I wonder how hard it is for unicorns to deal with headboards/frames? They must get used to it from an early age, especially during puberty.) The hall light and more importantly the moonlight and stars help add to feeling of total quiet, except perhaps for the door hinges squeaking just a bit. (Oh, it's so hard to avoid a bad joke here...)

So, yes, it's awesome and I'm very pleased with it. Thanks again.

That is indeed adorable, I guess they need to bond in whatever way the can considering the crazy, contentious history that have.

Hope Luna doesn't dislike being seen as "a little kid" though, she has enough emotional issues. :P

I don't think Luna has the role of the one needing comfort in this picture, though.

If you remember at the end of the second show they were getting along though Luna was still a very child like pony. So this would have to be several years later. I would hope they could get along well enough to be close. Perhaps even start a celebration of the longest night of the year. I know that my stallion Silverleaf would deffinetly be one to follow Luna more then Celestia using a lunar calander as he would and viewing the moon as a female symbol would see her in his mind as more atractive then her sister who is claiming a masculine symbol of the sun.
