Darcie hails from the Azure seas not too far from the coast of Sage Jungle, where Dementia began to experiment on marine-life to create female-only species. Darcie is actually one of the few successful experiments she has had and can reproduce with other females (and exclusively females).

During Dementia and Scarlet's recent battle however, Darcie was accidentally freed, and she barely survived against a wave of Scarlet's drones. Beaten badly, she washed up on the shore to Sage Jungle and was found by Joe, who decided to take the poor girl in.

Feeling indebted to Joe, Darcie wants to protect her savior, and help her enact her revenge on Scarlet.
