This musical piece comes from one of the earliest games for the CD-ROM to ever come out. It was also the first US "Survival-Horror" game to ever come out (Japan beat the US to it with an NES game called "Sweet Home"). As private investigator Edward Carnby, or mansion inheritor Emily Hartwood, you must investigate a mysterious house filled with PURE EVIL! Using your wits and whatever items you could find, you had to navigate your polygonal character through the house while doing everything you could to stay alive.
This music is the main music for the game when things are more or less "stable". Properly titled "Alone in the Dark", this piece is a little something to help
TigerBlack with a request I gave him. Hopefully, this ought to be spooky enough to really influence his art.
Always a great piece for a spooky atmosphere.

Plus I renember AitD was based in H.P. Lovecraft's stories, right?
