No matter how barren or bleak it may look to us, something calls it Home. I mentioned that I used to draw a lot of trees recetly. and here is a good example. A dead looking tree with some interesting shape and shade, in a barren looking desert but that shady hole at the bottom almost certainly is something's home. A lizard, a fennec, some little jerboa like critter. Something will always find a way to eke a life out of the most inhospitable environs. Originally posted in July of 2004.
