It's Felix Backfyre, the pyromancer. A powerful mage, he could be the top student in his school if he could only prevent every spell he casts from blowing up in his face. Unable to perform even the simplest shield spell without setting his hair on fire, he's forced to work outside school grounds in a dynamite shack. His skin has been magically baked and his hair turned shock white from being regrown magically so often. He and his salamander Cole spend most of their time exploring the realm of fire, and the school's burn ward.
