As Robin was neariing the final exams and evaluations she had made some friends in the basketball team, some of whom she would stay in contact with untill she got a job onboard the ESL Red Star. But one friendship in particular nearly turned into something more at the time and was a major part of getting Robin out of her shell and actively try to become more social and overcome her trouble with crowds. Now Robin like most Dravers always had at least some attraction to humans, something that was just in their DNA to make them more accepting of humans commanding them before the Gene wars. So it was little surprise that some of her friendships with humans would get pretty close, particularly when she got to know one of her team mates, Deianna, a lot better than most. Deianna and Robin would often hang out outside the dorms or even head into town on days off and they nearly got into a more...physical relationship when Robin got the news she wouldn't make graduation and had to head back home.

They tried to stay in touch for a while but schedule times conflicting as Robin attempeted to join Star Corps and Deianna headign off to space on her first duty tour made them lose contact and their relationship assumed to be ended at that time and made Robin more introverted once again. But at least she will remember that time for recieving her first kiss from a human and a woman, despite this she still considers herself straight and figures that perhaps she was reading too much into the relationship at the time due to the ingrained affinity towards humans but Robin believes that she'll figure it out if they ever meet again in the future.
