I could never figure out which I like more: messy sketchy lines or clean shapes? painting or drawing? realistic or over-stylized? It's possible to make up an abyss of styles! For me a style is a part of a story/feeling a drawing shows, so I'll never can choose only one.

I can relate, especially the style is part of the story and feeling, and I just get bored working in one way...the artwork tells the story, and leads a life on its own, outside of me. I used to feel bad about it and sometimes still do, but I guess it's nice too to make art which isn't necessarily a style connected to your 'identity' if that makes sense.
I just "see" and "feel" images in my head, often with specific styles that don't connected to my "identity" at all! I often feel confused because of that, since I just can't learn every style I see...
And I always recognize your art as yours, since it always has your touch.
