Tangojack aka Piratehearts, who I consider a good friend and an amazing commission artist who I have commissioned more times than I can count by now and every single time was most enjoyable. Please give her a follow, watch and look at her art. She does absolutely phenomenal work!
Now, I'm very excited to share this relatively new picture, giving a bit of a hint to my newest passion and hobby, miniature collecting and painting. And I have decided that Placiramon will share this very hobby and be quite enthusiastic about it. Of course in universe, the miniatures have to be legally distinct, but for me personally, I enjoy the minis from Warhammer 40k. All of it is just so cool~ =w=
A small bonus question for mini fans out there: Judging from the color scheme of her miniatures, can anyone guess which Warhammer 40k army Placiramon is the biggest fan of? :3
Feel free to comment below! x3
Anyway, please enjoy the picture! I too love it quite a lot!
Chapter 18:
While having some freetime after their training, Incendramon caught Placira in her room with something he hadn't seen her yet. With paint and brushes she was putting color on some small figurines. Curiously, he inquired about them and Placira invited him in to explain. He didn't know what he got himself into, when he sat down next to her and she started to tell him about this miniture tabletop game, where armies fought against each other and dice rolls decided the outcome of engagements. She explained of the rich lore the setting had and of her favourite faction and army and all of its characters and history.
He admittedly was quite interested, as such things were right up his alley and in his interest, considering the knight fantasy stories he had read and followed. But this was certainly something else and it was so much, that he most certainly couldn't remember everything she told him. But there was such a shimmer of joy in her eyes and with how much passion and excitement she talked about it, Incendramon could not help himself but be intreagued listen to everything she told him, as she put golden details on small figurines with deep red and black armor. He even inspected some of them closer. They looked incredibly amazing and she was quite skilled with painting, although saying that she had a lot of experience with the brush by now.
In the end, Incendramons head was spinning somewhat but he was happy to have listened to her and even asked the odd question when he had one. Being so passionate about a hobby, he hadn't really thought her to be the type, but it was honestly adorable. She even gave him a book with a story from the setting it played in, so he could look into it and immerse himself in it. And he was indeed curious.

Still love how this turned out :>
Maybe this was added with an afterthought but I just realized that the timing of the scene is really good!
Now we got:
-predjuces
-sympathy
-understanding
-enjoying the company of one another
so we got some emotional bonding, but now they're also picking up on friendship-material moments! It adds a nicd transition from him being awkwars with a touch to notSoMuch, because they now actually get to devolop a dynamic and learn to not only like the company but seek it (good talks, mutual interests)

It's so great.
This was exactly the kind of natural progression I wanted to have for the two, slowly changing the outlook and growing fond of one another x3
It's very important to not only do emotional bonding, but also have things to share or do together :3
Because relationships are more than just simple emotions, there is a lot of intricacy involved :3 And I intend to show that alot
