Hello everyone, some- sensitive topics ahead with stuff that I really, really, really don’t enjoy talking about.

So, I’ve left things kind of “vague” for... A few things that have been going on- including the lack of art including sketches, taking many days to read or respond to comments, all that other stuff and it’s time for me to come clean about it- and yes, this news is a bit late since I did originally upload this on my DA a few days ago, but this will also explain the really weird upload times and my pure absence.

Recently, I had a family member pass away, and it’s been pretty hard on me. Yes, they were very close, and then just a few days later, I had another family member, one who was also close to me, get sent to the hospital. Frankly? I haven’t had a motive or drive to do much artwork or writing. Things have been pretty serious so to speak that’s distracting me from my fun little hobby. No, I am not asking for money, no donations, no anything, (despite me being pressured into putting a "subscription" tab on my DA which isn't helping me out either lmfao- glad I could censor most of it, but I'm not having awful, awful, ads and subscriptions by other people be on my page nor displayed next to my art and I'm HOPING me putting my own subscription up STOPS this nonsense.), this is simply me finally coming out and revealing what’s going on as I’ve been super hush-hush about it. This month has been rough on me, and I’m going to be busy taking care of my family member who’s not doing very well.

Also yes, I suppose you could count this as “vent” artwork, but I’m not going to do the, “look how sad my OC is” or anything like that. Hyembs is my mascot, a bundle of joy who is more focused on spreading smiles than anything else. Yes, I might be a bit distraught, but I’ll certainly recover of course. Hyembs can be strong and heroic, so I'm allowed to have moments of weakness. The real biter is that as soon as I uploaded the “Lavender” artwork just a few moments later my family member had to be rushed to the hospital without any warning signs. I'm not blaming anyone or anything, just really bad circumstances all at once.

...Thats all I really have to say. I don’t like to make my personal life all that known in full, but with how serious everything is? I thought it should be known before I get any comments asking where I’ve been or if I’m burning out or something. Which yes- I have been asked in personal messages, so I’m coming clean about it. A lot of times, people don’t even seemingly read the descriptions of the stuff I write out. So, I’m making this one way more viciously apparent.
