Two ferrets actually

It was a mission with her to find one she'd keep on, because she's so tiny. Even kitten collars wouldn't go small enough for her, so I bought her an actual ferret collar and its just a tiny strip of leather. She keeps that on fine.
With his, the collar is actually a small dog collar, for chihuahuas, and he has never tried to get it off, though he could easily if he wanted. He's just dumb enough to not care what anyone does to him or dresses him like :P

I found they weren't so keen on the harnesses though, at first.

I managed to leash train my first ferret to the point of walking him like a dog- I'm shocked it could be done! People thought I was walking a opossum, one boy called it a squirrel

I still have a ferret collar, though my oldest ferret took it off carried it away and HID IT.
I tried kitten collars (trimmed to fit) and ferret collars; they always slip them off and hide them.
I guess cause they were too shiny/pretty to them to wear- so they rather HIDE THEM O_O

Somewhere in my house is a ferret treasure trove, the last one was behind the couch lol.

do you have an extra room for your rats ?

The rats are in an outbuilding that the ferrets cannot access, the ferrets have a run outside, or are indoors. Its not hard to keep them seperate really. I'd never let the ferrets anywhere near my rats.
