Aiming for heaven though serving in hell.
Piece is a bit early but June 6th will be the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. This art depicts the 2nd Ranger Battalion scaling the 35m (~100ft) cliffs at Point Du Hoc to disable gun emplacements. The original photograph has landing craft visible in the background but that would've cost a bit more than I had slated for the piece.
