A brief bit of advice for a bad day. Posted with encouragement from someone. You know who you are. ;)
Take a breath.
Close your eyes.
Inhale love.
Exhale lies.
Take a breath.
Close your ears.
Inhale tolerance.
Exhale fears.
Take a breath.
Inhale faith.
Open your heart.
Exhale hate.
Take a breath.
It will be alright.
Love will conquer all.
God will win the fight.
Inhale strength.
Take your stand.
You're strong enough
to survive this land.

The other to follow.
Walk through today with your head held high
knowing there's a better tomorrow.

It's very quaint like Helix said! And did you mean "close your eyes" in the second stanza, or "close your ears" like you wrote? :P I think it might be hard to do that with ears and I have to try to cover them with my hands, but you might have meant that probably.
And are you lately thinking a little bit more about Christianity? I think that I didn't see you write so much about this kind of themes at any point. But sorry if it's too intrusive of me to ask.
I like how it's kind of a guided meditation a little bit, haha. I tried to do everything as you wrote in the poem and maybe it made me more relaxed! I think it turned out great.

I did mean "close your ears" in the second stanza. As in turn off your news sources, your music, media, everything.
I suppose it is a bit Christian. I intended it to be a bit more spiritual than Christian to be honest. I meant God in the more generic spiritual sense here.
