Well, here’s Hunter doing his bit for FQNR FM; a promo as one of their on-air personalities, “Kadge” Waterfaller. Kadge is the nickname he gets from his middle name, Káajaaw’la’áay, which also means “Hunter” in Gandl Xaat’áa kil (we would typically call it Haida), the aboriginal language of the Freelands state of Bristlecone. He’s posed in some park in the capital city, Rain Terrace, high over Lake Sgil, a huge body of fresh water formed by the caldera of a gigantic ancient volcano. Hunter is sylvan, and as such is one of roughly a fifth of the state’s population who don’t normally wear clothes; Hunter’s just wearing his tribal glyphs. He’s only half-joking about having the album in a past life; there’s a good chance he did. Reincarnation is actually a thing in their world; widely accepted, if poorly understood.
