This is a rock formation less than a mile up the hill from my house. There is actually a cave behind the "head" that sticks out. I imagine that it was a critter that was set to guard the cave, and was there so long that he turned to stone. Anyway, when my siblings were younger apparently they thought it looked like a wolf's head. I don't really know what it looks like, but I never thought of it as a wolf.
