Day of Dragon Watching
Day of Dragon Watching was made back in Germany as well. This was near done on December of 2000 where it was apparent that the new year was coming. FYI, I graduated from High School in Germany in 2001.
This free-verse poem was written in the view point of Claw's soul of loyality, Laveror, the dragoon.
If you've ever talked to me about Claw before you'd probably know that Claw was born without a soul of his own. Instead an evil god cursed him to have his soul replaced by multiple souls, which all of them ended up making up his personality. Thanks to Claw's mother, the amazon goddess of arms (weapons), five of the six souls possessing Claw were good souls.
They all are, Maleno DeMont, the honorable warrior; Laveror Threescales, the loyal dragoon; Hashimon, the fun-loving spirit minion; Velermen Blackleaf, the wise sorcerer; Dante LeMont, the loving French knight; and finally Abenstolse Hellfire, the evil demon.
Enjoy listening to... er... reading Laveror's classical speech.
Day of Dragon Watching
I am here, yet I am not of this dimension.
I am strange, beyond reality. My name is Laveror.
The new year shall come soon.
I stand here, marking the end of the end.
The year of apocalypse is about to die.
Calling it “the year of apocalypse” just reminds me,
Of Alexander, the dragon lord, and Andromadite, the dragon god.
“Why” you ask? Know now, they are beings of apocalypse.
You may believe dragons are dead.
To thee I say “nay.” They just sleep for centuries.
They are not fantasy, but as real as us.
Why don’t we see them? They hide with brilliance of a ghost.
You believe me not? But in your heart you know it be true.
Live we do with them,
As in the Black Forest, home of many dragons.
Rarest of all dragons, the deathwing named
For their frightful look.
With mask of steel and wings of old,
They frighten many with their strength equal to ten dragons.
They most often are found in the color of
Death or blood, yet fear them not ‘til they anger.
I’ve gone off track. Done this before, I have.
I must look forward to the year of existence.
Ah! Again I reminded myself of dragons.
This time of Galaxiea, the dragon lord, and
Galactanous, the dragon goddess. Both of existence.
As you see dragons are various in types.
By no more of this I talk, for I have a guest.
‘Tis Lunona, dragon goddess of the moon.
She tells it ‘tis last, past high night, I believe.
Thus, end I must. End the day of dragon watching.
I, the dragoon of Tritoch, dragon lord of the triple element,
Say to you “good night.”
