Meet Seeth, the faith-eater! ArtistBemar captured my idea perfectly and couldn't be any happier with him! Although his design is seraph-inspired, he is no angel. Very loosely inspired by SCP-3004-1.
Although this creature held the familiar silhouette of a dragon, the multiple pairs of pristine white feathered wings lining his body could be a harrowing sight. He is covered in mostly sleek black fur, his head and neck left a stark white in contrast. No eyes graced his head, pairs of wings in their place unfurled placidly along either side of his face.
Neither inherently good nor evil, though perhaps a little chaotic, his existence revolves solely around the consumption of faith. Seeth acts as a conduit for mortals to strengthen their devotion, their faith being silently cultivated and consumed with every encounter. He has an uncontrolled, subconscious influence that causes those in his presence to truly believe he is connected to their chosen deity, or that he serves as a bridge between them, an intercessor. This influence does not affect everyone, but its pull deepens should one choose to perform acts of faith in his presence regardless of what they think of him.
Over millennia, word has spread of The Many-Winged One, written in ancient texts and passed through generations. Rites of invitation can be found scrawled in old scrolls and dusty tomes, speaking of offerings of emotional devotion as opposed to physical ones. A temple might spend a week in continuous prayer, and then one night, he simply arrives, silent and watching.
There are whispers and rumors passed through generations that suggest intimate acts with Seeth may strengthen one's faith, though very few are brave enough to even consider such a thing. Oddly, the faith-eater is interested in these acts should he desire, though it is such a rare treat when someone offers their body to him in such a manner.
