By 1910 Cetus started losing ground. Despite their army being well equiped and (mostly) modernized, it dint matter due to their manpower shortage. Stranded on land and without naval support, the Cetas decided to use trenches and bunkers to stop the Corvun advance. Due to their manpower shortages, launching attacks was not an option

Betwen late 1910- mid 1911 both sides remained stuck. This period also saw the most ammount of casualties and bloodshed in the southern corvus war

Despite Cetus best effort, the Corvuns broke trought their defenses (mostly by using chlorine gas) and pushed depper into Cetus, reclaiming Southern Corvus in the process.
