So the first quarter of 2024 has elapsed. I suppose an update on My Mate is in order. So, then, work on chapter five is coming along nicely, but I still need more time. That said, I'm looking at releasing this next chapter in two halves to split the wait time, with a mid-season break of sorts in the middle. But first I want to get at least a full year's worth of content ready before I commit to this plan. As I'm typing this, I have forty-five pages ready to go, which means I need to make like seven more (as there are 52 weeks in a year). In this light, July is starting to look like a promising month, but time will tell.
As for the The Offering of the Fangs 3, yes, it suffered an unexpected delay. Unfortunately, my last beta reader fell behind due to various personal reasons. Not much I can do about it other than waiting for the stars to align favorably or something. It is what it is, I guess... -_-

I would prefer Death over any exiles or Banning Punishment! Ra'ghalek AND his Men where there when our beloved Foxy-boy were tortured and perhaps even killed, now not even the Gods could tell what the Fate of the young 18-year old Fox is. Imagine exiling him or banning him forever?! He would just do the same Mistakes or even inform the other Dragon Clans of Sekk'rals Action for taking a Fox as his Mate! NO! DEATH IT IS! DEATH IT WILL BE!
No mercy for the General! Even Sekk'ral said it himself that Ra'ghalek will be as good as dead the next Time he gets near the Fox, so it is more then just settled! It is decided. But that is still for GeminiSaint to decide in his wonderfull World of Miracles on the unknown Planet where the Continent Alterra lays where the Story plays. Ohter said then this........

Indeed, all of us want to watch Ra'ghalek get totally demolished for his cruelty and callous nature. There was no reason to attack such a defenseless fox, who would be hopelessly outmatched even in a 1v1 dragon vs. fox scenario, but was facing down a 3v1 in reality.
Ra'ghalek deserves to be smashed and grinded because he took advantage of the weak. He isn't picking on someone his own size, so to speak. Farin had no chance of fighting or escaping, there is no reason to uppercut his midsection and rupture his internal organs in the process. Just leave him in a jail cell and be done with it. But no, Ra'ghalek wanted more violence...
I wonder how far Dragon medical science has gotten. And even if it was respectable, how much would they know about a fox's anatomy? Hopefully whoever the King is talking to and giving orders in the top middle panel will have some sort of solution to Farin's last clasp on a thread of life.

A Ra'ghalek torture scene would be right up my alley lol. Watching that viridian monster get trashed over and over, that's enough to make me feel warm on any night I get lonely.
But it does seem that King Daddy is willing to approach his son's lover with an honest desire to get to know him better. Daddy is impressed that Sekk'ral was so moved to protect Farin, he knows he wants to learn more about the fox that he previously disregarded as 'just a stupid fox'.
And did you see K'horr licking his lips in eager anticipation of something? I wonder what that is all about..

Indeed they will! This new Teaser we get after a long patiencefull Year of waiting for even the smallest amount of the best graphical Novel ever written that be acknowledge! What probaly less will believe of is that I really do admire and love Sekk'rals bold and couragefull Look in the last 6th Panel in the lower right Corner. It describes that he is ready to sacrifice everything, his own Life included to safe the one we all love!

I admit it's great television writing to watch GeminiSaint as the author, dangle the possibility of Farin's death to the audience, over and over again. Will he die? Will he survive? We are constantly asking ourselves this very question.
I would love to know what K'horr is smacking his lips for in the bottom left page, this is quite the situation. Perhaps he thinks he can suck off Ra'ghalek while Ra'ghalek is still in a weakened state from losing his fight with Sekk'ral that lasted all of one punch. I wouldn't mind watching Ra'ghalek suffer a little bit more on the losing end of things, that would be fun.
It does seem that the king is honestly interested in meeting Farin like he said, to see why his son has been so enamored with him. At least King Daddy is coming around slowly and could be a very strong ally to Team Farin.

Notice K'horr licking his lips and smacking his tongue against his face, all while drooling in the process. That's exactly how I feel when I get a full whopping 6 pages of behind-the-scene goodies from the upcoming chapter 5 of My Mate. So I heard you already have 45 pages ready to go, does this mean they are fully colored with dialogue written in and are begging to be uploaded to the world? Or does it mean the line-work is penciled in but no further alterations like coloring or conversations are added yet?
Seeing Farin laying helplessly like a petrified paper doll is hitting me hard, right in the feels. This upcoming chapter is going to be soooooo hard to digest with the lingering concept of Farin's death to be determined. Who among us hasn't been psychologically tortured by the idea that Farin might have a tragic end, after everything that has happened? All the nightmarish ordeals he has been through, just to lose out in the end?
Nice to see we are getting some more female characters. Looks like Surin and Porrah are going to be hiding out in Sekk'ral's cave, no reason not to I suppose, shouldn't be at risk of any further invaders. And the King seems to be genuinely concerned that Farin is gravely injured, perhaps he can issue a summons for some medical professionals. All of this is pure speculation on my part though.
