(I hate this but I put too much energy into this to delete it)
Scruff comes up with an idea to try and improve the way people see werewolves. His days in Boy Scouts gave him an idea, but his naivety stops him from realizing it's most likely not gonna go down well. Hex offered to help Scruff as Scruff tends to miss out on alot with the pack, due to his age, but Hex didn't realize what exactly it was that Scruff had thought of. And Ditch, well....Ditch just likes to help out.
