The "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise was the best friend of my childhood. I grew up with characters from this animation and followed all the news and details about the creation of new parts each year, up to the last one. Until I grew up and started doing other things. Years later, I heard about the creation of a new series "How to Train Your Dragon: The Nine Worlds" and became interested in it.

I was very disappointed when I saw how much the quality of the animation and character design had declined. I won't even mention the idea itself. Honestly, I didn't watch this particular series, but the screenshots from it really upset me. I understand that serial productions require large expenses, but my soul as an avid HTTYD fan was wounded.

I decided to dedicate an evening to sketching and ended up drawing one of the dragons from the team - Plowhorn. I drew other dragons as well, but in my sketchbook with a pencil. Maybe they will also appear here in the future.

In any case, this is how I pay tribute to my favorite cartoon and simply fantasize about a slightly different dragon design, more serious.
