One of the Colonial Navy's Criminal Investigators, Sultan works the Contraband Squad out of Jarlson Anchorage, saddled with the unglamorous work of rooting out smugglers and drug dealers in their brief passing periods through the Navy's Interstellar Jurisdiction. The work frequently takes him farther than he'd like from his partners on the Dyson Shard, and leads to a lot of elbow rubbing with the Frontier's less scrupulous elements, corporate or otherwise...
